Newsletter for November 2023.

Greetings: dear brothers and sisters in Christ! November month went off peacefully with more number of people attending the weekly prayer fellowship meetings.  The number significantly increased ever since we conducted the medical camp among these people.

​

Evangelism: The young women are fast catching up with what we are teaching them.  We teach them hygiene and good habits which otherwise these people are ignorant of.  They learned the gospel songs easily and are able to sing in their leisure time when they gather as a group.  They also learned to spend time in prayer as a group during the day.

​

Online Evangelism: Apart from the general evangelism we do, we also involve in evangelism online.  Over FB messenger with friends who get in touch with us through the sharing of our thoughts on Christ and Christianity. One brother Ronie (A Roman Catholic) from Philippines got in touch with Trevain and clarified his doubts on how to accept Jesus as his God and Saviour.  Trevain clarified all the doubts and shared how Christ died for our sins while we were yet sinners.  Upon this, this brother cried about the amazing love of Christ.  He gave his heart to the Lord and requested that we also pray for his entire family to be changed and accept the Lord Jesus as their Saviour. All glory to God for this new soul.

Testimony for the glory of God: Miraculously people are getting healed from their ailments and diseases.  We witnessed this by the immense grace of God. A young woman by name Rukamma (name changed) who was barren for more than 2 years after marriage, earnestly pleaded with us to pray for her to conceive as she was facing shame in the community.  Praise be to God!  We started praying for her and one Sunday our evangelist, Trevain invited the couple to come together for prayer.  After this couple were obedient in coming for prayer, within a month, Rukmini testified in our weekly prayer that she has conceived.  All of us rejoiced much in the Lord and praised God for His goodness and mercies.  Hallelujah!

New Field in Odisha:  We are glad to infom our partners in ministry that we came across a new field in Odisha in the North Eastern part of India.  This is a village consisting of only lepers all over.  They live by begging on the streets and provide for their families. Seen in the picture is brother Prem Prakash Singh who is an evangelist in this area and a friend of Trevain, who stumbled upon this community of lepers and struck a conversation with them.  He learnt that they are not wanted by anybody and are cast out from their village. When brother Prem shared the gospel of Jesus Christ, they were amazed that Jesus loves the lepers and went a step further in touching them and healing them.  They understood that here is a God who was willing to shed His precious blood for the redemption of mankind among which their community also belongs. They expressed great joy and accepted Jesus as their God and Saviour instantly.  Trevain takes care of this community through brother Prem Prakash Singh.

Prayer points:  Please pray for:

• Many people to gather regularly.

• People to be consistent in their daily Godly walk of life.

• People to get out of their rag picking work and get into skilled works.

• People to have good, clean and safe place of living.

• People to stop begging and start to depend on God for their needs.

• Salvation of these people.
